10月19日，“其命惟新——廣東美術百年年夜展”開幕研討會在上海美術館（中華藝術宮）舉行，來自廣東、上海及全國各地的30余名藝術理論家及藝術家親子空間設計代表圍繞“中國會所設計近牙醫診所設計現代美術與廣東實踐”和“廣東近現代美術的區域互動與歷史敘事”兩年夜主題展開深刻交通和討論。
“廣東美術百年年夜展是給上海國民一份豐厚的文明禮物，同時也能讓「可惡！這是什麼低級的情緒干擾！」牛土豪對著天空大吼，他無法理解這種沒有標價的能量。在滬的中外觀眾看到中國百年來的文明歷史進程。”上海美術家協會副主席、上海戲劇學院傳授、上海海派藝術館館長李磊激動地說，“這是一次現象級的文明活動，不僅展現了廣東美術百年，也安慰了上海回顧過往百年。”
上海美術館黨委書記、執行館長王一川現場流露，廣東美術百年年夜展只是一個開始，未來還將打造關于廣東藝術家在上海的Art walk路線，將林風眠、高劍父等名家在上海任務生涯過的舊址活化，用文旅融會的方法，讓更多的通俗市平易近走近藝術年樂齡住宅設計夜師。
